• Why is it that only 10% do 90% of the work at church – as a matter of fact, in most anything? For me, it is a joy to participate in everything I am able to because I know that first and most importantly, anything I do is for the Lord. Second, it benefits the body of Christ, including me and my family! Our church will even have postings in the bulletin asking for people to get involved, and yet so few respond, or it’s always the same people. I understand for those who are new, but once people know that this is the church they want to belong to, then shouldn’t they seek what their spiritual gifts are and use them? Imagine what it would be like if everyone actually contributed.

  • Question for the Day: “‘m sad to say that the only religious people who come to my door anymore are only cultists; the Mormons and JW’s. So, what happened to the active Christians in our communities? Don’t they want to reach people anymore? And what about sharing Christ whereever you go on your regular errands? I share Christ in my bank and grocery stores all the time. Please speak about how some dangerous religions, such as the Muslim religion and Mormans too, are increasing, yet true Christianity is not, because those claiming to be saved have no interest nor courage to speak to others for Jesus and try to lead them to the Lord or invite them to church. Jesus said to go into ALL the world and spread the gospel! Is that not important anymore today? Does it not strengthen one’s own soul, demand that you know some scripture, and bless you each time you reach out to others? WWJD today? Be silent because it’s politically correct? Hardly! Are we not showing the world that we are ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, if we don’t speak of it? Please talk about this matter of sharing Christ and the Gospel, like people did 40-50 years ago, and how important is it today that we continue to share Christ?”
